Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Some underarm malt in the aroma. A pleasing malty sweetness in the taste with a nice fruity peach background. Some bitterness. Distinctly acceptable.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, fruity, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110126]

Bottle, not BC. Dusted brass with a slim white foam freckling the lip of the glass. Aroma of honeyed grain, beeswax, slight tea leaf. Mineral soft with honey and lemon, lightly buttered slate, dunked shortbread. Pleasant.

Cask conditioned at The British Lion, Folkestone. Orange Gold with white head. Light malty biscuity bitter, but really full of character nevertheless. Bitter, dry and refreshing, I really quite enjoyed it in a very decent pub.
