(Cask at Old Mitre, Hatton Garden, London, 23 April 2008) Amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, orange and earthy hops. Fruity taste with a firm malt foundation, flavours of toffee, apricots, orange and generous amounts of earthy hops in the finish. Good, solid bitter.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma issweet citrusy with a sharp spicy edge combined with light notes of elderberries and bread. The flavor is sweet citrusy with light notes of cardboard, leading to a dry bitter finish with light notes of metal.

Bottled.Bought from Booths supermarket as part of their promotion for Englands attempt to win the World Cup.Poured with a small head and an inviting aroma upon opening.Slightl;y flowery bitterness with a lovely lingering aftrtaste. All round much better than Englands sad display.
