"2011" Bottle - Pour is medium gold - with a very modest white head into this glass - It retains poorly, with light lacing here. "Lambic style" indeed. Part of me is curious about the actual brewing process here but I can live without it. This bottle is clearly infected with diacetyl - more so than any beer Iíve ever had. I bought a 2nd bottle - will update. Huge disappointment so far - but as of right now : what a fucking joke

Bottle. Pours a caramel color with a foamy off white head. Notes of malt vinegar, white pepper, lemons, and oak. I expected more...maybe needs more time in the bottle.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours haze yellow. Taste is leather, sweet lemon. This is a 2011 so not much carbonation

Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours orange blonde with virtually vo head and a magnificent fruity aroma. There is a moderately sour light fruit flavor woth lots of oak. Not as nuanced as a traditional blended lambic, yet very pkeasant to drink.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours orangey burnished gold. No head. Slightly sour aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is mildly fruity and mildly sourish. Very mildly. Makes me think of oaked cider. Ah. Itís barrel aged. Decent. Finishes woody.

750 bottle Saw the 100 pt shelf tag from this site so one, I had to get, and two, been to this place 100 times. So had to get on ratings band wagon. Brew was green apple aroma, with some musty basement character, great! Taste stingingly sour and tart with a vineyard back ground. Finished super dry.

Clownoisseur (264) - Buchanan, Michigan, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Bottle courtesy of Waterboy, thanks Ric! Pours a bright golden color, a bit hazy, low carbonation gives a few bubbles on top but virtually no head. Aromas are vinous in nature...white grapes...hay, funk, cobweb...light oak notes. Taste is moderately tart. Nice notes of under-ripe fruit, musty grapes, wet oak and earthiness. Finishes mildly acidic and tart, with more vinous notes. Come off as slightly flat, but a good brew none the less.

Shared 2011 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of off white head foam, and some spots of lacing. The nose was yeasty funk, light tartness, and esters as orange, berries, and pit fruit. Light to medium bodied, with lively enough carbonation, the taste continued as the aroma, added some earthiness, and tannic astringency, with a dry and lightly vinous finish. Very nice!

750 ml bottle with cool wax top. Bought after I had some of their other beers that I just loved!!! This was my fav by far. i love this style. Only down side was the 29.99 price ouch. But once I had it I will apy for it on a special occasion. It was sour, and oh so peachy lemon sour. CO2 was light, aroma of sour peaches and apricot. Nice dry finish. A little went a long way!
