4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dominant acid sour aroma with little if any head. Some very light sprits for C02. Grapefruit and cedar with barnyard and goaty coming through in taste. Zero hops. Overall what I expected in a beer fermented as a lambic.

Hazed yellow, white head. Really damn good. Nice lemony sourness, lactic sour, huge dose of earthy funk, some oaky notes. Nice!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (750 ml) bought from Craftshack.
Appearance: Hazy-cloudy golden with no head and no lacing.
Aroma: Really oaky with medium spiciness, moderate to medium acetic notes, grapes and lemon.
Taste: Moderately tart with acetic notes, a lot of oak again, moderate spiciness, lemon, grapes and floral notes.
Palate: Medium body. Almost still. Oaky mouthfeel. Dry finish. A bit puckering. Lemon zest aftertaste.
Overall: Decent/good sour blond. Nice tartness, acetic presence is borderline overpowering, interesting oak character and decent drinkability considering the lack of carbonation and the acetic presence. As others have pointed though, a flat sour blond doesn’t equal to an unblended lambic.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle shared by tom10101, thanks buddy! pours cloudy pale golden, no head/lacing per say. lots of orchard fruitiness - peaches, apricots, but also tropical pineapple, american barrel - woody-forward with honeyed bourbony notes, pale honeyed maltiness - not getting any wheat; light acidity - citric lemons with an acetic touch; low funk if any. low carbonation, light body - oily; tart citric-spicy finish. nicely balanced but a spontaneous barrel-aged combined with loose carbonation does not suffice to call it lambic. anyhow, it was still nice!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy/dirty yellow and completely still with no head or lacing. Nose is of vinegar and slight basement funk. Taste is of vinegar, cider vinegar to be precise. Body is medium, carbonation nil and all the acetic acid tingles a little. Overall this was barely OK and certainly not a lambic.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle of 2011 release. Pours a pale orange color without any head. Looked to be no carbonation on the pour, and yes, there is no carbonation. Some interesting flavors and nice barrel flavor. Mild sourness. But the lack of carbonation lets it down a bit.
