750ml bottle of 2011 release. Pours a pale orange color without any head. Looked to be no carbonation on the pour, and yes, there is no carbonation. Some interesting flavors and nice barrel flavor. Mild sourness. But the lack of carbonation lets it down a bit.

Beautiful sour tangerines aroma. Smooth golden color light haze no head. Smooth sour transitions to a killer dry finish. Great sour beer.

Bottle at home late night but I have no patience to keep beer I want to drink. Pours nice flat Unblended but weird yellow orange juice look as well. Nose is nice Lambic funk and bunches of citrus. Tastes of funky yeast, oranges, earth, white grapes, oak, and lemon. Palate isn’t quite the Unblended feel I love so much from style, more pulpy and citrus juice. Anyways good brew but not best Unblended in world.

Tepid orange pour, lifeless but that’s the way it goes with unblended lambic. Aroma is overripe fermenting clementine, malt vinegar, apple skin. Flavor is malt vinegar at heart, but the acidity is more lactic and kind of enteric really. Sour fruits balance it out and make it pleasant if you don’t think too hard about parsing flavor notes. Bitter funky oaky tinge follows. If you’ve ever split oak rounds with a fungal infection for firewood, you have a good sense of the funk that is creeping into this beer. Very dry. I didn’t like it at first but it’s kinda good now. They took a very impressive whack at a batshit style.

Pours dark-ish yellow/orange with minimal head. Light carbonation. Very pronounced tart scent which is confirmed when tasted. Has a sweet, slightly unripe finish. Very good and surprising from this brewery.

Binnys Chicago. Best place to get outlandish brews. Done time with leathernecks in oceanside so had to get this. Pure fricking lambic. Real tat but not like an American sour wild. Subtle green apple and fairly tart. Tons of funk and subtler oak. No real carbonation, as I like I. A lambic. Blue cheese yeasty wheat phenolics, wrapped in a nice hay basket. More of e sensory experience than anything. Brings the youth out! Double A+
