COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled, newly labelled as Dama Bier Summer Lady. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheaty, banana and yeast. Taste is also wheaty with fruit, yeast and some floral notes. OK

A hazed blonde weizen with with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet banana malt with weird solventy notes and bilous notes. In mouth, a sweet ripe banana with cloying notes, cream, a bit of acidity, lacking body. Bottle at Mondiale 2012, June 8 2012.

One of Brazilian’s most near approach of European Weiss beer, this is clearly a must have.

My Bottom Line :
Sweet bananas, vanilla ice cream and citrusy hints ground this Weizen’s wheat character.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam tops the cloudy dark blond.
-The soft effervescence is not pillowy (and expansive) enough to properly emulate a true Bavarian Weizen.
-The flavor profile is simple and effective.
-If it were a tad drier and more effervescent, this could be a very good example of the style.

Bottle.

Bottle at Brasil Brau. Cloudy yellow color with a medium white head that not resist too much. Aroma has hints of banana and yeast. Flavor is like aroma but with some bread on it and a dry finish.Medium carbonation. There are a lot of better Brazilian weiss.
