Blond color. Aroma of malt and cereals. Very common taste, quite strong bitterness, undistinguishable.

From BA (Jan 2009): Brown 330ml bottle of 4.6% imported Estrella, poured into a Veltins Pilsner glass twice. Think it is this version of Estrella, hope so anyway! Palest of pale yellows, a light golden colour. The large white head became a thinner cap with lacing as I drank down the beer. A bit of yeast and hop aroma but nothing to write home about. A typical light lager smell. Crisp and clean, refreshing at then a metalic aftertaste sneaks up on you, it clings to the throat and lingers longer than the intitial crispness. I thought I remembered this beer as being one of the better lagers/pilsners when holidaying in Spain years ago. I must have got it wrong, or the others were terrible! No overly impressed at all.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Can. Yellow colour with a small white head. A very weak aroma. Moderate malt flavour and light grassy

500 ml can. Pale golden with diminishing white head. Light aroma of grain and metal. Flavor is weak malt/grain with metallic bitterness. Thin body and short aftertaste (thank God).

Canette 500ml sous le nom "Estrella Damn Barcelona" et titrant à 4,6% d’alcool. De couleur dorée pâle et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés, léger de légumes bouillis sucrés et de maïs avec des notes herbeuses (gazon mouillé) et de pain blanc. Plutôt mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et légèrement croustillant ainsi qu’une texture légèrement aqueuse et aux faibles notes huileuses. Goût de grains de malt pâle moyennement sucrés avec des notes de légumes bouillis et des traces fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût un léger goût de maïs ainsi que des notes de pain et des traces céréales fraîches puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes amères de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé). Post-goût court et aux faibles notes asséchantes, composé de notes amères de houblon herbeux.

Can (thanks to my mom & dad). Yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, hayish, grainy and a bit bready as well. Flavour is grass, grains, bready malts, mild metallic notes as well as some slight hay in the finish.

50 cL can, comes as Estrella Damm 4.6%, export version. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild cornish and slight metallic. Bitter and subdued sweet malty flavoured. Bitter medium dry finish.

Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light malty, grain, glue notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, rice. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110626]

Can. Pale golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, dry, hops, water and cardboard.
