Cerveza de batalla por excelencia. Una rubia sin mas especial para compartir, para el botellón, para los partidos de futbol en casa o para esas primeras cervezas que te tomas con tus amigos a los 15 años.

Can. Sweet barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Sweet corn syrup and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Standard, low grade pale lager.

It pours a clear light golden liquid, with medium white head (diminishing but lasting). Aroma is light malty, with hoppy flavour and hints of grass, lemon and grain. Above the average carbonation, with smooth and watery palate. It finishes medium bitter, hoppy and rather sweet. Very refreshing average lager, its liter bottle being its main asset (specially the plastic bottle, ideal for street parades!). Beerwise, not the best choice in Barcelona (or from Damm),as it tastes watery and rather artificial.

Bottle. A - Light, clear yellow color with an average sized, foamy, bubbly, white head. Decent retention with just a bit of lacing left. S - A bit thin. Fair amount of bready and a bit less grainy malt aroma. Pretty typical smell for the style, maybe a bit more wheat aroma than others. T - Fairly bready, with some wheat flavors. Some other grainy malt flavors also there. Touch of grassy hop and very slight mineral taste in the background that comes out a bit more toward the end. M - Light body with about average carbonation. Pretty watery but has a smoothness and refreshing feel. D - Really a very drinkable beer. It is smooth and very refreshing. A little bland, so you might not be inclined to grab another, but if you are drinking it in Spain, another would probably hit the spot. Notes: Had a couple of these in Barcelona as they are quite cheap at the grocery stores. A nice bready malt lager that is very refreshing and easy to drink. It really hit the spot in the Barcelona sun and that is probably when this beer should be drank, on a hot sunny day when you want something to cool off and to refresh you. Overall just an average beer, but a wonderful combination of location and beer makes up for it. If you are in Barcelona pick some up to escape from that mid-day sun.

Beer with rice is not god for ratebeer (impression of myself) Aroma and taste are not the best. Sorry for a medium old company like damm. Visca el Barça.... only for tradition have to be rated

Brought home from Costa Brava. Pale yellow with a medium white head. Malty aroma along with notes of straw and hay. Not as sweet as many other pale lagers which makes it more refreshing i think. Ok!

Can. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt, and so is the flavor. Thanks yespr for sharing.

This beer only comes in liter bottles... hence I drank it out of said bottle on the streets each of the few times that I had it. It is essentially a pretty bad pale lager, but it is quite drinkable. Flavors of light hops and corn come out in the taste. Slightly sweet. Very cheap.

0.33 l can brought from Barcelona by a friend, thanks a lot Mike! So it became my #100 pale lager, as of current classification. It poured pale golden body with medium sized head. Some lemon hops in aroma along with honey malt base. Sweetish malty flavor as well, with some lemon and apple hops spicing it. Pretty watery though with above average carbonation. Has sweeter finish that is not lasting particularly long. Goes down smoothly. Better than Estrella, but still an average pale lager, nothing special.
