Adherent and discreetly persistent foam. Limpid color, lightly bubbly. Simple and watery scent, nearly of detergent. Light and unpleasant taste. Much watery with a light malt notes. Inconsistent and little percepibile alcohol.

chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2004
An acceptable, if commonplace, European lager. Clean and crisp, but with a sweet edge. Went down fine on a hot day in a Spanish restaurant, which is as much as I’d expect from it, hence the overall score is higher than the sum of the parts. An unexpected tick too. 1l bottle, Navarra’s Tapas Bar, Charlotte Street, London.

Apart from being the firsy beer i have tried that starts with the letter X this is nothing to write home about. A run of the mill european lager, light bodied, quite pleasant with an inoffensive sweetness.
