On tap at 4th Noord-Hollands Bierfestival. Clear dark reddish brown, almost black colour, dense beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, malts, some chocolate, caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty, dark fruits, towards the finish some coffee and toffee flavours, light spicy, nice roasted bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied, alcohol well hidden. Really good.

Bottle at yespr. Muddy red-brown coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, cookies, spices and dried fruits. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and licorice with notes of cookies and dried fruits. Sweet finish.

Bottled. A murky dark brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, over ripe fruits, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and phenolic. Spiced and dry malty. Light chemical, fruity and phenolic. Sweet and caramelish finish.

cloudy murky brown, small white head. aroma is spicy yeasy, dark fruity. flavor is spicy plastic, yeast, dark fruits, faint licorice, pretty messy, sort of a dubbel.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque murky brown with no head. Weird plastic aroma with some alcohol. Rich body, lowish carbonation, sweet caramel, brown sugars and some spice. Warming alcohol finish. What a mess, but apart from the nose at least drinkable. 230512

Bottle: Thanks to Rudy: Medium to bigger fluffy and fairly quick disappearing creamy head on top of a deep dark hazy brown colored beer. Smell lots of fruit: banana, prunes, peach, raisin, pear, some spices, cinnamon, light cloves, sweet malts and caramel. Taste metallic, malts, sweet malts, fruit, banana, light peach, light yeasty, hint of herbs, light bitter with a slight hint of nasty bitter, which is over taken by the fruity character of the beer. Pretty well balanced. There is a trace of alcohol, but actually it is pretty well hidden. The aftertaste is a bit dry, herby, light fruity and some light fruit tints. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller body and a creamy texture. Well balanced, pretty soft, very fruity and overall a decent beer.

Tap at 6th Noord-Holland Bierfestival, Alkmaar: Dark brown coloured brew with an taste of liquorice, caramel and toffee. An medicinal like brew with an fine sweetbitter finish.

Reddish brown, creamy head. Heavy fruits, again, snutmeg, full, doughy yeast and toffee candy. Full on sweet but with a good balancing hoppyness as well. Lots of flavour. On te other hand it’s not very surprising. Carbonationn is to low I think. Decent brew overall. (On tap at Pint N-H Bierfestival)

Bottle from Bierkoning. Light black body with poppy medium head. Nose quite sour and spicy. Taste start quite strong, licorice notes and malty. Medicinal even. Sort of a like a Jagermeister in a beer. Not sure I really like this all that much....

Pretty good. Has a sweet start and ends with a very spicy finish. Cloves, even some stranger spices. Does not at all feel like a 10% beer, very dangerous. Haven’t had much from Dampegheest but this one is nice.
