bark (255), Linköping, Sweden Dec 13, 2004 Can. The colour is yellow with a tint of gold. The big white foam is built of medium sized bubbles.
The smell is chemical, sourish; there are notes of hay and bitter hops.
The carbonation is rather weak, giving the brew a somewhat stale mouthfeel.
The taste is also quite weak with a mild body. I found notes of some dry hops, some sweetness and a touch of hay. The aftertaste is short with some bitter-sweet notes and a flavour of white bread.
This beer is brewed for the Scandinavian retail chain COOP.
veronika (410), Sweden May 21, 2004 Light golden, no head. Has a sweet aroma and a sweet but weak and boring flavor. larsniclas (2735), Gothenburg, Sweden May 8, 2004 Canned.
Golden with a white head.
Soapy corn-aroma.
Thin, watery and absolutely meaningless. rlgk (2944), Motala, Sweden Apr 15, 2004 Yello, with a with head. Aroma is nothing, flavor is nothing. Maybe there was a touch of flavor somewhere, but it was not easy to defind, and maybe thats just good. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 24, 2004 Canned. Pale yellow, quickly dissipating head. Unpleasant corn aroma. Thin and metallic, loads of off flavour, probably from too short fermentation. No bitterness. Well, they've probably succeeded in doing what they wanted: copying the cheap copies of cheap danish lagers that Kopparberg is torturing us Swedes with. Only one thing is missing. Kopparberg's crap also tastes of rotting peas. I suggest they correct the recipe.
