Commercial Description:
Ever wondered what would happen if you took a Sufgania (Jelly donut), mixed it with espresso and turned it into beer? So did we! With an aroma reminiscent of "black cherry", "Borkum Riff pipe tobacco" and "your dad's tweed jacket", this is a beer to enjoy on a cold Chanuka night as you settle into your leather easy chair by the fireplace. Catch it every Chanuka and whenever we're missing New England. 5-5.5% ABV

On tap at "pre-passover keg party": a lot is going on with this beer, cherry jam, some artificial sweetness, vanilla, mocha like ice cream, some notes of roasted/burnt barley, the different flavors are are integrated in wierd way which is not so good but overall a nice and interasting beer.

Draught. Dark brown, almost opaque. wonderfull aromas of roasted coffee, cocoa, vanila and moca which lingered in the glass long after the beer was gone. some vanila, cherry and faint coffee flavours. Body is quite light and the aftertaste is short. Not bad.

Re-rate 4/16/08: Draught at the "Pre-Pesach Keg Party" 2008. Black-colored with a small light brown head. Strong vanilla aroma with coffee notes and faint cherry hints. Flavor of vanilla, coffee with milk, some roasted malt and unfortunately no hints of cherries. Medium-bodied. Could be great for vanilla lovers, just not for me. 6/4/6/3/12

Draught at the "Pre-Pesach Keg Party" 2007. Black with a brown head. Aroma of vanilla, cream, a bit of roastiness. Flavor with roastiness, cherry, coffee and vanilla. A medium to full body. A very interesting beer, but not exactly my type of beer, since I don’t really like vanilla. Very nice anyway. 7/4/7/4/14=3.6
