330 ml. bottle split with Beerlover_Ben. Obtained in the big Israeli trade. Blackish, little but solid mocha head. Nose is glue, earthly liquorish, light sweet coca-cola, lightly metallic. Taste is glue, sweetish plastic, liquorish, herbal, thin, plastic, berries, light bitterness,… Rather thin. Not very impressive but drinkable for sure.

Draught at Benny’s Cask Ale Pub, Kfar Saba. Dark black with medium creamy beige head. Light aroma of roasted malt, notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Sweetish flavor of roasted malt, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, moderate bitterness, faint ash notes. Light carbonation, creamy texture, medium to full-bodied. The cask version is very nice and easy to drink.

AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 330ml. Pours black with a medium tall, short lasting foamy dark brownish head. Aroma is unique and pleasant: Strong dark malt, slight coffee, corn, roasted notes and somewhat fruity, slightly yeasty. Body is quite light and slightly watery, carbonation is quite soft. Tastes is mostly sweet with very little roasted grain bitterness. Taste of dark roasted malt, very obvious, yet subtle smokey notes - whiskey like. Some coffee, slight chocolate, some light fruity hop flavors. Flavors of corn, vanilla, bread, yeast, somewhat like a wheat beer.

330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy dark brown with a small dark tanned head.
Nose is full with dark chocolate and coffee, with pleasant roast and some milky notes.
Roasted malts flavors, with chocolate, cream and low bitterness.
Not very dry, lacks some hoppiness, round and too malty. OK.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle in Jerusalem. Exp date: 3/2014. Pours jet black with two-finger creamy head that sticks around a minute or two before dissipating. Yeast sediment at base of bottle, carbonation visible only when tilting the glass. Aroma dominated by Tuborg-like unpleasantness, with faint undercurrents of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Like all Dancing Camel beers, I find something about the taste disagreeable -- borderline skunky. The first half of the swig is rather nondescript, transitioning into bitter flavors of roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. The skunkiness creeps in with the rest in the second half. No alcohol presence. Even as the beer warms, there’s little change. Mouthfeel is upper range of medium. For a stout, this fails to deliver and tastes like a cheap gimmick.
