Commercial Description:
In talmudic lore, the pomegranate is reputed to contain 613 seeds, corresponding both to the number of commandments in the bible and the number of nerves in the human body. The pomegranate's place on the Rosh Hashana table (as well as inevitably the table cloth) is a timeless tradition in the jewish home, reflecting the wish that our blessings for the new year be as abudunt as the seeds of the "Rimon". A delightfully refreshing pale ale with the unmistakable earthy fruitiness of the pomegranate.

On tap at "pre passover keg party": basicly there is some hoppy bitterness, some orange notes, some tartness, not enough malt to back the flavors, the overall flavor is a bit weak, nice dryness in the flavor, quite refreshing, interasting.

Re-rate 4/16/08: Draught at the "Pre-Pesach Keg Party" 2008. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, some hops and some pomegranate. Slightly tart flavor with pomegranate, citrus, some malty sweetish and yeasty notes and faint hoppy hints in the finish. Medium-bodied. Enjoyable. 6/3/7/3/14=3.3

Draught at the brewery. Muddy orange with a big, long-lasting, off-white head. Nice aroma of floral, citrusy hops, some malt, notes of pomegrante and berries, and some acidity. Sweetish, fruity flavor, with some tartness - some bready malt and pomegranate. Stronger fruity tartness in the finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice. 7/4/6/3/13=3.3

Draught at the brewery. Small head, hazy orange colour, weak aroma of pomegranate. The taste is quite sour with some tartness that is not pleasant. Not very different from their pale ale except for the bitterness which is much lighter. Intersting, though the pomegranate is almost non noticable in the flavour profile of the beer. which is a pitty.
