COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask; Regular. An eminently drinkable English pale session ale. Subtle malt and floral notes are matched splendidly with citrus hop, rounded off with a slightly dry finish. Ay / Ey Up Me Duck is the phrase that inspired both the name of the brewery and one of the beers but when it came to getting the pumpclips made we discovered that there is much debate surrounding the spelling. The majority of people in Derby seem to think that it should be ’Ay Up’ but head a few miles East or North and people are adamant that it is ’Ey Up’. We didn’t feel that it was up to us to decide and so we had both versions printed and leave it to the pub landlord or lady to choose. So to answer a question that we are often being asked Ay Up and Ey Up are indeed the same beer just different pumpclips.
