Cask at The Bell, waltham St Lawrence. Pale gold with a ring of white head; grainy aroma; quite full bodied and grainy with some apple and spice; the a touch of tart grapefruit with some lemon sherbert to finish. Satisying, yes, memorable, no.

Cask at WJK, Dublin. Deep golden pour, white head. Aroma is orange, light spice, biscuit, some citrus. Taste follows suit with plenty of orange notes, citrus, fairly earthy spice notes, biscuit, and light honey notes. Medium bitterness. This is pretty much fine, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, spicy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110429]
