The taste is the roast coffee malt, dark and milk chocolate milky sweet and the pine hops drying the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral resin pine softly sweet longish finish. Nice.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Jet black pour with a thin tan head. Light aroma, kind of nutty. Taste is actually kind of light, hints of chocolate, which is a little perfumey and fake tasting. Full mouth. Not overly flavorful. Needs more cocoa character. The chocolate just isn’t getting it done. Lace present.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty run of the mill stout - at least at the temp it was served on tap at the brewery. Not a lot of chocolate. Disappointed by this one...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery on March Madness Eve with commonshawn. Tulip 10 oz pour. Dark brown into black with tannish head that?s not interested in sticking around for the sipping party. Aroma is roasted malts with coffee undertones and a hint of dark chocolate. Taste leans into its chocolate milk name very assertively. Nice sweetness working throughout. Mouthfeel is creamy and silky again bringing to mind a glass of chocolate milk you would have after school when you got home and flipped on Saved By The Bell. Finish is relatively short with aftertaste emphasizing chocolate. Very nice, filling beer. The flagship for this brewery and deservedly so.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at GTMW 2015, pretty tasty beer here, pours a very dark brown with a light tan head, the aroma has a lot of chocolate as advertised with a nice backing of caramel and sweetness at the same time, the flavor has a strong chocolate front end with a smooth finish, good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Dangerous Man. Very dark pour with a dense tan head. Chocolatey aroma, malty, slightly toasty. Flavour is light but tasty with plenty of chocolate and some creaminess. One of the better chocolate stouts I've had at the lower ABV.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Black with small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, and a hint of sweetness. Light body, dark roasted grain astringency, moderate creaminess, dark chocolate notes, and a light sweet finish. Could use more body.
