Pours a little thin. Smell is coffee and Smokey. Taste is good but like their chocolate milk (which is delicious) it tastesa little immature like it needs to age a little. Overall enjoyable beer.

Taproom. 8/3/13 6.6% and 29 IBU
10oz tulip. Very little dark tan head with almost no lacing. Local, good quality coffee aroma with a slight chocolate sweetness. Taste very much like the smell, coffee dominant along with nice roasted malt backbone, slightly sweet. Light bodied for the style but still substantial, balanced and lingering. Overall a solid coffee porter but not top 5 by any stretch.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Dark brown pour, light lacing and a chocolatey coffee nose. Flavor is similar to the aroma, high end coffee, roasted dark malt, milky sweet chocolate. Pretty Solid. ABV was listed at over 8% at the taproom tonight, so I don’t know if this would be a new listing.
