This corked ceramic bottled mead from a bottle shop poured a head of medium sized clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a oily lacing. The aroma was honey and ginger. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong vinous aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild spice sweet vinous honey and ginger. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

May 13, 2008 LIght honey and spice in the aroma. Has a very distinct nose, and pours a beautiful heavy oily in the glass, leaving great lacing. Warming on the palate, but tastes very clean, and very heavy, with a lingering sweet finish.

May 9, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Pale golden colour. Oily lacework. Aroma of spice, medicine, honey, fruit, alcohol. Full bodied with a flat carbonation and thick alcoholic texture. Heavy sweet flavour. Lingering medicine and spicy honey finish.

Pours dark coppery golden with no head. Aroma is mild honey, and slight spices. Oily and thick mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, sharp alcohol and weak caramel. Not my kind of mead.
