Bottle… Hazy caramel-colored mead with centipede-like legwork. The aromatic standouts are honey, flowers and a trace of smoke. Medium to full-bodied with a fatty mouthfeel. The flavor is strictly of sweet honey and ethanol. Finishes much the same – sweet and boozy. Big-time thanks to Plovmand for providing this Danish rarity!

Ceramic bottle. clear dark amber, no head, but a few bubbles. Dark for a mead. Alcohol domnates the aroma, which also have some honey, and something that resembles wood. alc. is stinging in the nose. Too much alcohol has been added to this one. Flavor is burning alcohol, honey, "ceramic bottle", flowers. Beneath the burning alc. there is some good stuff going on, but the alc. really distracts a lot.

Fra flaske, dufter dejligt af honning dog lidt sprittet... Smager lidt som cognac med honning :) dejligt!! Sød og blød eftersmag... Flot cognac farve .... Dejlig mjød!

Ceramic bottle. Pours hazy amber. The aroma is quite alcoholic and has notes of sweet honey, port, dark fruit and light acid. The flavour is sweet honey, alcohol, raisins and port. Bit boozy overall.

Clear medium to dark amber color with no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy dark honey, wood, shoe polish, moderate alcohol, hops and honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100618]
