[Vintage 2001 - sampled 2005] A dark nut-brown mead ofcourse with no head. The aroma is very sweet with powerful notes of honey and lesser notes of rosehips. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of honey, pollen, and rosehips. The mouthfeel is smooth and the body powerful, leaving a little alcohol burn on the tongue and in the cheeks.

Bottled: Dark orange coloured. Clear. Sweet, full and smooth honey aroma. Flavour is smooth as well and has a nice alcoholsweetness. Is wellbalanced and interesting. Has a nice honey undertone without letting the honey take power. Alcohol is well hidden.
