Blond color. Herbal aroma, old pharmacy, old furniture, perfume, alcohol. Sweet mouthfeel, with some herbal presence, herbal, light smoke, leading to a moderate bitterness.
Quite good herbal and fortified mead.

Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, flowers, apple notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy honey, flowers, nectar, apple notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20111118]

Ceramic bottle 70 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Very sweet honey aroma. Solid body, light but very sweet honey notes - almost sticky sweet. The sweet gale does come through. Very hot alcohol finish. Not bad, but not the most sophisticated mead either. 270411
