Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, sharp honey, alcohol, ruff aroma. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long to average duration, ash, hony, sharp, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. Bottled. A yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of honey, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and spices, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Ceramic bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear golden. Very sweet and flowery honey aroma - pleasant indeed. Solid body, sweet and pleasant honey notes but then comes some not too pleasant ashy accents - some marzipan too. Warming alcohol finish. 130711

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Clear pale golden, no head. Super sweet with fierce alcohol. Sugar mixed with apples and honey. Burning sweetness and alcohol coming through. Unrefined, almost fuel like mead.

Measured Final Gravity: 1034

Golden color. There is strong honey aroma, with mild fruity touch and a light soapy and perfumy side. The mouthfeel is medium sweet; honey flavor, followed by some herbs (like bog myrtle) and also some astringency that is more evident in the final (rare in Meads indeed); alcohol warmth. Peculiar, but quite good.
