Bottle. Pours a clear amber with no head whatsoever. Aroma is full of dry earthy honey with a bit of earthy hibiscus underlying as well. Flavor is full of sweet honey with a decent amount of booze and a pretty strong earthy hibiscus note.

On cask at Belmont Station. Haha with a Viking helmet on the cask. Pours a clear ruby color with obviously no head. The aroma is heavy herbal and sugary, heat is all over. The flavor has a sugary honey base and some interesting floral notes, but for me the main flavor was hot alcohol, burning, chemical like cheap vodka. Lots to like, but not for me.

This $30 dollar bottle of mead is well worth it. This was definitely a dessert drink. Cheers!

Poured from a large ceramic bottle into a snifter. Aroma- Has a sweet fruit aroma with a strong alcohol smell. Appearance- The color of watered down apple juice, with no head. Taste- The flavor is not bad but it is nowhere near tasting like a beer. Once you get that out of your head the honey flavor isn’t bad, there is a strong alcohol taste and bite. Palate- Dry, light bodied beer with no carbonation. Has a syrup like texture. Overall- I think this is slightly over-rated by those before me. It would make a nice aperitif.

Bottle, poured into Duvel glass. Absolutely no head. Aroma is thick honey, floral hops, and alcohol. Taste is sweet, but not cloying, with slight notes of hibiscus and hops, and a heavy alcohol burn. As for mouth feel, it is a little thick for y liking, but overall still a very excellent mead.

Mead tasting at Taphouse. Ceramic bottle. Mild sweet herbal honey aroma. Flavor a bit more spicy than herbal because of the hibiscus. The sweetness of they honey and the high alcohol percentage is however still present. Long finish.

This is delicious; unlike anything I have tasted. Kicks you in the face with floral sweetness and a full bodied texture, and has an after taste of honey. Drank the bottle in about 15 minutes and did have a nice buzz.

Smells like carpet cleaner. Taste is not much better. Heavy floral and spice taste with a bit of honey. Has a nasty alcohol bite. Nasty as hell.

Thick syrupy floral sweetness. Almost like port wine. Viking vampires give it two horns up.
