Amber color. Aroma of honey and spicy hops. Sweet honey flavor with some nice spice flavors. Alcohol is warming. Very nice.

Bottled (from International Delicatessen, Kastrup Airport). Amber colour, no head. Aroma is honey, strong herbs and spices. Flavour is rather much the same in a quite nice thick form. Rather spicy compared to the other means from Dansk Mjöd.

Sweet, honey taste. Pale gold color, clear, medium body. Balanced, but alcohol gets really noticed after some sips.

Damn good mead. Had this last night at my buddies wedding. Served in a horn so I can’t comment on the appearance. I was pretty wasted when I drank it but from what I recall it’s one of the better meads I have had. Smells super sweet with hints of vanilla and pears. Taste is phenomenal. Alcohol is very well hidden and it’s not too sweet.

Pours a clear golden. Smells of honey, alcohol, lavender. Taste is sweet honey with alcohol wine taste mixed in - smooth but strong, like an iced irish whisky.

I like meads in moeration. This one is really good. A nice browninsh pour with a big nose of honey and vanilla (Well of course, it’s mead) It was really pleasant and didn’t get that annoying, "Ok , I’ve had enough," flavor.

5oz pour at my birthday celebration at 3Floyds. Pours a golden orange color. Aroma of honey, herbs, and alcohol. Taste is very sweet, fruity, honey, and a boozy finish. Very nice.

Honey, cinnamon, hops, and a little cherry in the aroma. Flavor is sweet, with cinnamon and gin-like juniper flavor. Lots of warming alcohol in the finish. Really good.

A rosé like mead with aroma of juniper berries, fruity, alcohol, honey, quite nice. In mouth, a sweet honey mead, flowers, tingling mouthfeel, sweet warm alcohol, a bit of rum. Bottle from GRM, shared with Boutip, Probstk and Ian, Dec. 2 2011.

Bottle: Poured a lightly pink and golden color mead. Aroma of maple syrup and sherry is very nice. Taste is again an interesting mix between some maple syrup and some sherry which not being overly sweet. Hibiscus can also be traced back though hops are a little bit harder to distinguish. I am far from being an expert on mead but this was very satisfying as an experience.
