Tasting at Papsø Dark blown color with reddish hue, hazy; small head. The aroma is slightly smokey, with some roasted malt. The body is slim for this gravity, even if the flavor (caramel, chocolate and light sourness) is quite good. It’s un unfinished Old Ale, simple but quite good.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords. Dark amber with a very thin beige head. Standard sweet xmas stuff really. Faintly phenolic, dried fruit, and a peppery alcoholic finish. Dull but drinkable.

Bottled@The Chriso Gaylord Tasting. Reddish amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, mild wood, some slight raisins as well as mild earthy notes. Flavour is quite much the same with the fruityness being much more sweet than in the aroma. Aftertaste is fruits, spices and some mild alcoholic burning notes.
