Aroma is floral hops, light pine and citrus/fruit. The flavor is citrus, fruit/fruit peel, light grapefruit, malts, mild/very slightly cloying sweetness and a dry/tart finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Doughy danky nose with hints of citrus feet and toast. Hazy golden orange pour no head, thin ring if foam. Doigh and dank more or less. Pleasant bitterness chewy resin. Really a decent IPA. Peppery earthy dank. Probably not the freshest either.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear dark orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, bready malt and a touch of pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Backlogged rating: Among the 1st batches for this brewery: Golden hue with a fizzy head. Grassy, herbal, slightly piney and grainy nose. Well balanced with moderate bitterness and slight fruity and peppery hop character. Very smooth and refreshing mouth feel.. Solid offering.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(16oz can) lightly cloudy deep gold-orange, creamy offwhite head that laces nicely. Nose of cream, pine, light candied citrus, biscuit, touch of funk if swirled, candied citrus. Taste is less indicative of the nose, really well balanced, biscuit, tends toward malty, touch of pine, cream, orange pulp, very creamy finish, great malty linger with a touch of citrus zest.

Bottle. Wanted this one to be a little more west coast, hop aroma could be larger.

On tap. Minor head, maybe half a finger. Next to no lacing with a nose that’s almost completely caramel malt. Some citrusy hops that are almost outweighed by the grainy backbone. Lighter body for an IPA with plenty of carbonation. Not my favorite take on the style, but still an immensely drinkable beer.
