Very local beer, mostly found in Buryat cafes and buuza shops. Cloudy straw blonde. Only a thin head. The aroma is fairly doughy. The palate is full and sweetish, with a significant doughy, bready character.

At a Buriyat restaurant next to our guesthouse in Ulan-Ude. Hazy yellow with scant lacing. Gamey aroma. Fumes of yeast. Is very weirdly weasty, with some paste/glue manifestations of dough. But it’s ok.
