mdm46410 (499), Griffith, Indiana, USA Jan 7, 2008 On the nitro tap at Dark Horse and served in a pint glass. This beer poured a cloudy golden/amber with a thick, creamy nitro-induced head that lasted throughout the glass. A decent amount of lacing coated the inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of herbal and citrus hop notes, light caramel, and biscuit. The flavor was true to the aroma, but with a more pronounced hop profile. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and creamy soft with the nitro. Nice and smooth. Decent. Silphium (1976), Lansing, Michigan, USA Dec 30, 2007 On nitro at Dark Horse. Described by staff as an "English Pub Ale," which could be anything served in a pub in England, or in Marshall, Michigan yesterday. Soft body, with light bready malts and subtle tanginess, accentuated by a touch of grassy hops. Hints of apple. Quaffable. ryan (1648), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Dec 29, 2007 Nitro @ Dark Horse. Just guessing on the style on this one. Hazy golden body with a medium-sized off-white head. The nose is lightly floral with a touch of dough. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with herbs, cracker and light citrus. Medium/light body is round with nitro carbonation.
