Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has maple and roasted malts with some dark grains. Flavor has a nice roasted malts and maple combination and dark grains backing.

This is cloudy brown with a brown head of fine bubbles. It’ls sweet with lots of maple and almost tastes barreel aged with tons of vanilla. It is also a touch hot and very heavy on the palate for a beer of relatively moderate gravity. This would be a lot better were it a bit lighter.

Draft at Big Beers and barley wines. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, maple syrup, some chocolate with a hint of earth to the finish. I thought this might be bigger. Decent enough.

Bottle purchased DH general store. Pours black. Small dark tan head. Aroma of licorice and maple syrup. Big flavor of maple syrup and brown sugar. There was a little bit of harshness that I took for alcohol burn, but at only 7% that didn’t really make sense to me. Good medium palate. Dry finish. Overall very good and worthy of DH putting it out in bottles.
