3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, thanks Jeff! Robust, candle/soap-like aroma of dark spices. Medium body with good carbonation, slick feeling mouthfeel. Finishes with a slight bit of bitterness and elements of dry tannins. Some earthy elements come through in the aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This brew is a dark brown color with a hint of amber around the edges, and a medium densely foamy khaki head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, spices and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of cloves, roast malt and dark fruit. The finish is spicy and figgy with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at BBC in Mass, typical winter warmer with too much spice and not enough beer, the keg kicked as he filled my glass so being free it tastes a bit better, but knowing its the bottom of a keg makes it taste a bit worse. loads of holiday, try it once a season and be done.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
No i wyraźna, średnia goryczka. Świetnie ukryty alkohol. A największą zaletą tego piwa jest nienaganne ułożenie, żaden element nie przeszkadza. Świetne!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma has notes of yeasty breads, cereal malts, and holiday spices. Dark murky brown hue with a small off-white head that left no lace. Flavor is very sweet and medium bitter. Palate is full bodied and watery with average carbonation. Overall, a decent brew for winter but not one I would buy again.

12oz bottle. Dark Horse obviously can nail dark beers. So they make a spiced bomb Winter Warmer into a big, imperial dark beer. Clove, peppermint, spicy action..but with the smoothest of smooth massive dark malt backbone to hold it up. This is an enjoyable beer all the way, but also one I’m happy to just have one of..the pumpkin pie spices are played out. If Winter Warmers are your thing, this is mandatory stuff.
