3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pros: Super heavy spice character, big time pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar. Strong flavor. Lots of taste. Even finishes well. Nice color.
Cons: A bit heavy on the spice, so much where it is basically the only element. Thin bodied. Out of balance.
Still pretty impressive.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of dark fruit, spice, wood, and malt. Lot of nutmeg and prune. Taste is very spicy with lots of nutmeg and cinnamon. Also wood, and a lot of dark fruit. Can’t taste the alcohol, but it has a nice warming effect. Mouthfeel is light and sticky. Body is light, and the finish is all spicy fruit. I liked it a lot.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle. Dark reddish brown. Large fluffy head. Aroma has spices but also wood and fruit. Some strange leathery notes too. Taste again is malty, wood, leather. Spices aren’t overt. Quite dry. Not sure of the age on this but it tastes a bit old rather than fresh, which is a shame.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A huge blast of spices herald forth from the foamy pour from a bottle. Nutmeg and cinnamon are especially prevalent. The taste is a jumble of sweetness that’s hard to untangle and, I generally don’t like to say this with a high-alcohol-content beer but, this is far more intriguing cold than as it comes to room temperature.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque dark brown color, tan head, streamers of lace. Taste is spice and malt that moves effortlessly through the palate to a lightly hopped finish. Pretty standard issue with the addition of spice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with some reddish notes. Small tan head. The aroma is vanilla, toffee, cloves, cinnamon, and caramel. The flavor is sweet, with a nice savory spice. Very low bitterness. Medium body, creamy, a little grainy. Overall, this is a very spice-forward and flavorful beer.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Celebrating the first 60-degree day of the year with this one; an appropriate homage to the Winter behind us. Dark fruit taste lingers, while beer surprisingly holds up to thaw weather expectations. Careful with ABV because you cannot taste the impact.

Bottle @home. Pours black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, nutmeg, spicy. Medium to full mouthfeel. Taste, first dark fruit, spicy, ginger and then chocolate bitterness. Finish is bit sweet and has some bitterness. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Bottle (12oz)] Pours black with a spare diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma is spicy first (cinnamon, nutmeg and more) followed by malt, some dark fruit and a hint of chocolate. Spicy, malty and fruity flavour along with a bit of booze and a big spicy bitter finish -- almost astringent. Average to medium bodied. Somewhat one-dimensional, this one is all about the spices, but I like it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours opaque chocolate brown that lets a peep of light through at the bottom. Roast malt aroma has a cinnamon hard candy overtone. Flavor is smoky and woody, just a hint of candy. Texture is smooth but a tad thin.
