Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of all spice, as well as medium notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Theis for sharing.

Opaque dark brown beer. Tidy mid - tan head. Palate starts soft but quickly turns crisp. Bitterish dark toffee overlaid by mild lactose and then crisp but mild spice and minerals. Cinnamon most noticeable. Dry finish with more bitter toffee. Interesting!

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, listed at 6.5%
The color is black, with creamy brownish head. Strong spicy aroma, at Least this is nutmeg and cinnamon (and not cassia). Good flavor of dark chocolate, roasted malt, with moderate but pleasant residual sweetness, and strong spicy character (nutmeg and liquorice). Although I don’t favor spiced beers, this blend with the dark chocolate is well achieved.
Pumpkin pie with chocolate frosting.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A clear, dark brown beer with a minimal sized off-white to beige head. Spiced aroma, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, not much else shining through, except some dried fruits. The flavor is a bit too spiced, at least to drink a whole bottle, with the same spiced found in the aroma, and also the dried fruits. Dry and a bit too carbonated. Quite nice, but too heavily spices. 110129
