Taste is cloves, pine and nutmeg. Minor bitterness on the tongue and finish of warm light cinnamon. Decent beer, but not my favorite dark horse.

Pours so dark clear amber chocolate. Light clingy fine bubbled head. Big first bite full of yeasty pumpernickel maltiness. Middle had a nice dark chocolate and I could have been fooled into chasing what I thought was a hint of cherry. Put together a mixed twelve of beers I’ve never had. Glad this was my first.

Malts are up-front, particularly bittersweet chocolate, then comes a bunch of pumpkin pie spice on a good finish. Basically your standard pumpkin spice beer without the actual pumpkin and dressed up for the holidays.

Pours a dark brown with a white foam head. Aroma is allspice, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Those aromas come out nicely in the flavor as well, which is also sweet and a little bitter. Has a full body mouthfeel. Delicious.

I’d like to punch whoever put the wax around the cap, took me 10 minutes to get this bastard open. Poured from 12oz bottle from trade, at home. Brown with off white head. Has a bourbon boozy nutty aroma, huge smell on this guy. Has a carmel and malty bread taste. Brown sugar, maple syrup, and just VERY sweet. Not a huge fan, but can tell it is a quality brew.
