On draft at Proletariat, a single hop ipa with citra. Appears to be based on Crooked Tree. Fresh, grassy, a little resin, smooth & goes down without a fuss. A fine IPA for sure.

July 5, 2013 - bottle shared by Brett. Cloudy golden orange pour with limited head. Malty and fruity/citrus bitterness. Best of the 3 tasted.

On tap at the Pony Bar in Hellís Kitchen. Citra hops indeed! Great bright mango and orange flavors in the hop profile along with the mild burn of white pepper. Nice astringent herbal character on the end. The malts are little more than background music here, but it is quite good.

Tempting aroma, basic appearance, balanced taste (more hops than FF), and warming mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, orange zest, grapefruit zest and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuiit, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering citrus finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a fully hazed light amber with an off-white head. Citrus hop aroma with floral pine. Citrus hop flavor again mixing in florals and pines, and a little bit of toasty caramel biscuit. This version makes a pretty good beer but is still a bit simple (which I suppose is unavoidable).

Hazy, brownish-orange pour with an off-white head. The aroma has a fresh, clean quality with citrus notes. It has a light body with somewhat watery texture and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet and refreshing with a quick finish.

Sampler pour on tap at Haymarket Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Still hadnít rated this.. So letís do it. Pours a deeper amber orange hue, with some decent haziness. Frothy whitish head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas offer citrus and tropical fruit, some bready malt, decent Citra presence isnít as pronounced as youíd like but still quite pleasant. A bit of sweetness, fruit, bread. Some mellow florals. A bit fruity, sweet. Some bready malts, a more pronounced bitter and sustained hop presence in the backend. Solid, a bit muddled overall. The hops donít quite express enough. The backend brings it back, bitter and fairly dry. Solid albeit not a head of the class type IPA with these more savvy or trendy hops.

Split a 12oz bottle with mcart034 a week or so ago. Poured a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma was pine notes with some grassy characters to it. Grapefruits and malt caramel character. Pretty enjoyable.
