3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one poured a light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of caramel malt and lighter grain, and citra fruity hops, but nothing in your face like it should be. Flavor was similar, citra and malt, moderately bitter. Average IPA.

On tap. Pours a hazy orange color with soapy white head. Aroma is floral hops and sweet. Nice floral hops and bitterness with a good amount of malt coming through to back it up.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Citra is one of my favorite hops so this one was better than the FF. the aroma was still weak but the taste was still balanced.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Milltown. Loads better than the base, to me, and happy to hear this is going to be in bottles. Attractive pale orange pour with an elegant, substantive head. The nose is really nice, accentuating the floral qualities of Citra rather than the raw bitters that I often feel take over. Flavors are even better, as the substantial malts that are usually in Crooked Tree meld really nicely with the bracing hop, producing notes of citrus zest, rye, and tropical fruits. Flavorful, well balanced, really nicely done.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big tropical nose, with a bit of cattiness to it. Pours a hazy orangish with a white head to cap it off. A lot more caramel notes then I was expecting, with only a brief blast of bitterness. Slightly slick mouthfeel, with the bitterness coming back in the finish. A more balanced IPA then I generally go for, but quite tasty.

Amber. Citrus hoppy aroma. Rich and malty with a healthy dose of citrusy hops. Good not great.

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a medium beige head. Malty nose with grassy and piney hops. Malt and grapefruit flavor with some caramel accents before a sweet and piney finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on tap and in bottle. My rating is on tap. I would take away 2 pts out of bottle. Pours a golden orange with medium head and gorgeous lacing. Aroma of citrus and very well balanced. Those looking for an "in your face" bitter experience will look past this one, but this is a very well crafted beer (as all of the Dark Horse stuff is)
