4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The Artic pours a cloudy deep sunset orange with an off-white head that leaves thick lacing. The aroma is citrus hops galore. There is a malt background but it's not distinguishable. The flavor is also citrus hops. Overall this is delicious! I wish there were more!

12 oz. bottle. Hazed amber-brown pour with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, juicy resin. Smells delicious. Flavor is delicious. Melon, tropical fruit, nice caramel malt. This is a delicious IPA. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel. Smooth finish. Excellent, great showcase of the citra hop.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle part of an IPA-themed mix pack. Pours out a cloudly light golden amber. Bready-spice aromas. Flavor is slighty citrus, but mostly bitter spice and bread. Pretty boring.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle pour to shaker. Mild grapefruit, soft, slightly sweet palate. I enjoyed all three Crooked Tree single hop specials.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy dark orange-gold with good, creamy, white head / Bright but malty nose of citrus, pine, candied sugar / Medium body, malty, biting hops with some astringency, a touch watery but with otherwise good balance and bitter finish / Big flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, cut pine, resin / Seems a bit out of balance, with modest alcohol but big fruit and hops?? Still a very pleasant, if very bitter, ipa.

Bottle. The reddest of the single showcase ipas. The taste is a little smoother than the others.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz Bottle. Thanks Sean! Light fruity aroma. Flavors display citra nicely, with a hit of pineapple and some juicy hop resin. Clean, well supported with what I think is a very fine base malt structure, and a nice balance of bitterness. I thought that the aroma could have shown off more of the pungent, papaya-esque bombastic qualities of Citra, but it was still solid.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, pours a hazy orange with white head. Scent is citrus, fruit, and earthy. Taste is more earthy bitterness than the original, also less malt. Good, but I’d take the original.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours dark orange/copper with a white head, poor retention/some lace. Aroma of earth, citrus hops, orange peel, caramel/light toast malt. Taste is bitter, floral/citrus hop, caramel, earth. Palate is soft, a bit oily, bitter finish. Not quite as good as 3F ZD.
