Lots of citrus aromas and flavors that you would expect out of Citra hops. These single IPAs are fun to drink even tho they are backasswards!

Bottle... Pours cloudy and amber with a small, creamy, short-lived, white head. The aroma is all things citra – passionfruit, grapefruit, tangerine - and sugar cookie. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor supplies a hefty dose of grapefruit, passionfruit and tangerine rind bitterness. Lengthy bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of FlandersNed!

Bottle from La Atlántica bottle shop, Santiago de Compostela consumed at Frank (camper) at Camping As Cancelas a campsite in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain, Saturday 21st June 2014 Mid amber with a slight orange hue, mid sized white head atop. Aroma is fairly typically American style, crystal malt coming across a little too much and hops worryingly absent. A little sweet and chewy in the mouth the hops once again failing miserably to assert themselves, I really wouldn’t know if this was Citra or Fuggles (it is an unfiltered IPA with Citra) I have to say I am little disappointed. Actually I am getting a little perfume, but that could be me going a bit OTT with the Farenheit in a shop in town. Btw Loz thinks its nice and quite hoppy, clearly we are at odds here. After leaving this treat in the bottle for nearly a year it’s really smoothed out incredibly and is really making me happy on this Friday after a long and brain-draining week of work. I needed a beer. Bad. The brew is bold, burnt orange, but slightly pale in saturation with a very dense white head and nearly solid sheets of lacing. This head remains very healthy, long after bottled, and the carbonation remains just as strong. It has a very finely balanced nose of grain, soft, mellow citrus hops, and a touch of burnt caramel sweetness. The experience is extremely smooth throughout, from nose to finish. The hop bitterness seems homogenous in presence with the grain, tasting, it seems at times, slightly of rye. Only a touch of that grainy, almost wood-like hop and malt character pervades the finish. This beer is really impressive. There’s just enough of every characteristic, from hops to grains to residual sweetness, they’re all perfectly balanced, and the soft, mellow character is much like a perfectly aged beer. Well, it helps that this was actually aged a little. This is much more impressive than I had expected.

12 oz bottle. The pour on this is (a shocker!) a darker orangey amber. Looks very similar to the other variants. The head is larger on this, similar to the FF CT, and the lace that’s left when the head fizzles down to a nice thin ring is just great. The aroma on this has a much more citrus dominates hop presence. There is still a good maltiness and some light caramel and slightly grassy. The cirta isn’t as prominent as one would expect to detect, but it is much moreso than the others. The flavor is delightfully bitter. I love the citrus. Some good grapefruit tones, and a lot of pine and resin. There is also that slight hint of caramel maltiness. The mouth feel is thin, but decent, and the after taste is lingering, bitter, and that you’d want in a mid-grade IPA. I think this is my favorite of the variants, but the regular is still better

From flandersned. Thanks, Steve! Deep orange amber like others...why would it be different? Juicy citrus and light tropical fruit nose. Dry bitter finish. Good, but actually found the Falconers the most interesting maybe just out of novelty?

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Cloudy amber blond, white head. Orange, hoppy aroma, sweet taste with hoppy undertones. Medium body, smooth, sweetish finish.
