3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the Dark Horse taproom. Pours an orange amber. Small white head. Good lacing. Aroma of banana and cloves. Flavor is of sweet belgian spices. Very drinkable. I really liked this one. I’m not picking up the IPA part which is just fine because I haven’t been that crazy about the other beers I’ve had that were classied as Belgian IPA. Regardless, I hope that I see this one again at the Dark Horse

GTMW. Hazy amber-orange. Nose is of very earthy, herbal pine and light fruity spiciness. Flavor is initially fruity malt and faint spice that gives way to more of that herbal, semi-astringent pine. Big, bold, and rustic all the way to the finish with lingering bitterness. Loved this one.
