Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. A Ryder Cup beer. What will they think of next? Amber with a small white head. Like all those World Cup beers, it’s a fairly routine crowd pleaser. Faint malt aroma with a little spicy grass, combining pleasantly enough to give a hint of ginger. Taste is straight down the middle (to prolong the golfing metaphor). Some fruity sourness. Some sweetness. Some bitterness. Some... well, drinkability.
