3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a moderately dark brown with lasting thin head and good lacing. Aroma is roasted malts with some caramel sweetness with a hint of dark fruit. Taste is sweet and slightly tangy up front then some drying bitterness in the middle, and mild roast in the aftertaste. This is subtle overall, but with a nice flavor. Palate is medium bodied and noticeable carbonation.

A bit of a flat taste, but not bad flavor. Good dark amber color. Not overly carbonated, which is always a good thing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is actually a pretty darn nice brown ale. For a style that tends to be pretty bland, it has a nice chocolatey flavor. Quite malty, as expected. Hint of coffee.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Une bière très malté, chocolaté avec des touches de cacao. Une légère amertume mais qui ne compense pas le côté "trop" sucré de l’ensemble.

12 oz. bottle in a pint glass. Pours a dark brown with a reddish tint and thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee, caramel, and chocolate. Taste is similar, with a dry, slight coffee after taste. One of the more enjoyable beers I’ve had with a prominent toasted malt bill.
