This beer is a big and full bodied Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels with lots of roasted malts, but very balanced with heavy hops. Brewed with a top secret root, this beer has an amazingly complex flavor that you must wait for.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, soy sauce, and bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, soy sauce, roasted malt, wood, and bourbon, leading to a dry, alcohol, and roasted malt. The alcohol leaves a burn on the tongue. Thanks madsberg for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours an opaque black with pretty much no head. Sweet Bourbon nose atop some very sweet roast. Solid body, no carbonation whatsoever, slightly tart hard roast, some pruney dark fruit and sweet roast. Lots of warming Bourbon leaving a boozy finish. Lovely - in spite of the lack of carbonation. 311011
