I have to say I had a pint from the cask and really enjoyed. Color was a nice red with a quickly disappearing head. Overall aroma was heavy on the malt and caramel, but a faint smell of what I thought were plum, pear, and crab apple. Taste was nice...fruit taste translated very faintly, but had a nice earthy taste with a strong cereal taste...yeast had a nice faint earthy/fieldy taste that complimented some of the sweetness of the hops/malt. Palate was certainly on the short side, relatively light and thin. As it came from the cask it was a bit soft.

Cask at George Inn, London Deep amber with a small tan head. Light on toffee and some grass. Some nutty hoppiness along with notes of chocolate(?).

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark amber with a small off white head. An attractive sweet creamy malt aroma with a hint of plum pudding. However the aroma misled me, and the taste was grim dreary earth and water, with a mid bitter finish.

Cask, The Cricketers - Chelmsford White lacing; copper-brown colour, floral and herbal aroma with biscuit and toffee. Taste is toffee; caramel, soy source, syrup, chocolate and rasins. Interesting but a bit bland.
