COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPA’s, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

This may be better than the Crooked Tree Double. On draft at the Railroad in Linfield. The beer poured a dark yellow-straw color, but didn’t have a whole lot of head to it. The flavors were outstanding, though. This is one delicious beer. I tasted lots of pine and citrus notes, along with the spicy and floral hops. The beer is balanced quite nicely with a generous helping of toasted malt and caramel. This is an excellent IPA.

Tasted from draft. Pours super murky orange color with white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops. Taste is grapefruit, orange, papaya and floral flavors. Pretty bitter overall with minimal malt backbone. Great flavor. Medium bodied. Love the taste. Definitely a top tier IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Moeder Lambic Sint-Gillis. Orange amber colour, white foam. Hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and grapefruit. Malty. Refreshing. Light sweet, light bitter finish.

Fin col de mousse, bulles fines à moyennes. Bullage très fin. Belle couleur brun-orange. Au nez, c’est le fruit et les levures qui dominent sur un ensemble houblonné. En bouche, c’est le houblon, son caractère floral et bien équilibré qui domine sur un ton légèrement fruité. Thin head, small to medium bubbles. Very little carbonation. Nice Brown/Orange colour. The aroma is fruity/yeasty with a nice hop scent. The taste is dominated not surprinsigly by hops, floral and very slighlty fruity. Very nice beer and very nice IPA !

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice gentle rolling red to orange color with a nice one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. There was some nice foamy lacing that tried to stick but it slid into the beer. The smell was a gentle somewhat sharp bitter citrusy hops that let some light caramel malts enter in as it warmed. The taste was mainly bitter through the hops and it had nice sharp bitter citrus aftertaste that led to a nice dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium in body and displayed a fairly sessionable quality about it. The carbonation was nice and sharp for an AIPA. Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA well worthy of having again.

Bottle. Toasty and nutty malt flavors with some woodsy notes. Hops are moderate ... kind of subdued. Grassy, slightly floral and resinous. Subtle, pleasant sweetness. Mild-to-moderate bitterness; a little muddled. Decent beer, but not overly exciting.

12 Fl Oz Bottle from De Molen Beershop in Brewdog Teku glass. Appearance is orange, with a thick, soapy off white head. Nutty aroma along with caramel, grass, citrus fruits. Starts bittersweet, most of the bitterness being at the end. Medium bodied. Tastes of raisin, more caramel. Not as hoppy as expected, but a very nice IPA!
