COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPA’s, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a thin white head and visible sediment. Aroma is full, with a heavy dose of apricot and peach hoppy notes, alongside a bit of earthy malt and grain. Taste is medium-bodied and crisp bordering on astringent, with an initially fruity flavor of grapefuit, apricot, and citrus building up to a long bone-dry finish with an almost mineral-like quality to it. A very solid IPA -- a rich hoppy bouquet and a very dry body, but not mouth-puckeringly so.

Pours hazy, pale gold with a half-inch head of white. Smeared lacework persists as well as a mostly covered surface. Aromatics lead off with peaches, cut grass, grapefruit, and orange-rubbed moss. Light malt with plenty of tropical fruit and earthy overtones. Almost skunky, but not skunked. Medium bodied, crisp and snappy. The pallet starts with plenty of drying, bitter grapefruit, peach skins, tangerine pulp, and spruce dew. The bitterness rolls on and the beer is bone dry. Mild alcohol notes pull through the bitter fruit pulp, and a faint malt note is present. Finishes with lingering bitterness, grapefruit pith, and a drying mineral profile. Nice above average IPA. It just needs more of the juice in the middle and aromatics.

Draft. Pours a murky orange with a full white head. Tons of lacing on the glass. Nice citrusy nose. The flavor is rich, with a pleasant hop balanced lightly by malt. Very clean finish, with a few lingering hops. Well made.

12 oz bottle: poured cloudy orange with a medium off white head. Lots of yeast floating at the bottom of this one. Big caramel malt aroma with lots of hops sticking out. Flavor is much the same with lots of caramel and hops. Light sweetness initially and a pretty big blast of hop bitterness in the finish. Moderately dry. Good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a murky golden color. Medium sized white head. Nice citrus hops aroma. Malty body with a good mix of earthy hops. Not overly bitter, just right. Dry finish. Very tasty beer.

12oz bottle, courtesy of Sephiroth. Thanks, Hans! Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; thin off-white head with decent retention at the edges; mixed-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of orange bitterness, resiny, chewy hops, and candy sugar; generous, dripping hoppiness with a solid malt core in the background; very nice aroma; reminds me of Willimantic’s IPA hop character. Slightly more maltiness in the mouth than expected; medium-to-full mouthfeel: juicy oranges and tropical fruit hoppiness, citrus and earthy notes, and lots of candy sugar / fruity sweetness at the core; solid carbonation; solid hop character, just not quite the tongue-numbing zing the nose hints at. Lengthy finish: lasting orange bitterness, minerals, and candy sugar; some earthiness, and quite dry and nicely bitter at the end; some toasty malts once everything else subsides.

Very clean, very hoppy. In my opinion the best IPA from a Michigan brewery. Cloudy pour, hoppy aroma. Little carmel with citrus. Obviously not filtered, has a little "stick" to it.
