3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Beige dense head. Piney and herbal aroma. Has some notes of berries. Flavour is herbal and piney as well. Is a bit soapy and very sharp. A bit unbalance imo. Medium bodied and very dry. Sharp bitter and citric end.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: a nice, lazy cloudy orange, but with very little head that disappeared rather quickly. This is one of the first IPAs I’ve reviewed that also had minimal lacing.
S: also unlike many other IPAs, the floral/citrus hoppy aroma is matched equally by sweeter smells; the malt appears to be more up front than others in the style.
T: now we’re getting somewhere, I like this quite a bit. An initial hoppy yet balanced burst of flavor rapidly blooms into a wonderfully juicy grapefruit flavor and then just as quickly finishes crisply and dryly. Very nice.
M: very nice mouthfeel to this one, not excessively carbonated, not too thin (which I almost expected it to be given the lack of head).
D: an extremely crisp, juicy, refreshing brew. I could see putting back several of these with ease on a gorgeous summer afternoon down the shore, or at a BBQ listening to the ballgame. Very drinkable.
A fun beer for certain, too bad they don’t distribute beyond 3 north-midwestern states.

12oz bottle. pours orange with almost no head. nose has light floral and citrus hops. flavor has some nice bitterness, citrus, orange, biscuit, some oak, but flavor leaves flat and a little one-dimensional. i don’t hate this but dont find it anything special either. a solid ipa.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murky orange-amber color with a thin bone white head. Spotty lacing throughout the glass. Citrusy hops aroma balanced well with malt. Medium-bodied and nicely bitter with hops and citrus flavors, along with floral touches here and there. There is a decent amount of malt balancing the flavor out as well. The finish is moderately bitter and lasting. Very solid all around.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I really am enjoying this beer!
Just poured it into my goodwill bastard chalace. Pours a light amber with a lacy but thin head.
The smell is a little sour, it seems, all hops, with a little malt balance, but decidedly too dry.
The taste is fantastic, beautiful hops silked into a firm malt finish like a good sourdough bread.
The mouthfeel is unbelievably smooth, precisly creamy and just, well, perfect.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is heavily hazed amber with a dense off white head...smell is strongly piney and lightly citric...taste is strongly bitter with pine and citric...light sweet bready flavor in the finish, but this is completely out of balance...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great hop aroma with lots of pine and floral hops. Cloudy golden brown with a full palate. The taste is tons of pine hops and bitterness. Just enough caramel malt shows up to save the day. Really solid IPA.
