Itís not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPAís, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

12 oz bottle - Hazy light amber color with medium sized off white head. Aroma has mild herbal hops, slightly nutty, chewy malts, bit of oak. Flavor is fairly malty, bit of hops, slightly oxidized, with a balanced finish. A decent english style IPA, but nothing great.

Bottle thanks to Ryan and Felicia. What a delicious beer!!! A very nice apricot pour wtih a mostly white head. Aroma is full of mango and citrus hops. The flavor is wonderful. Citrus hops hit but donít overpower as the malt swirls on the tongue nicely. Enjoyable, very enjoyable.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Hazy amber gold color with a slim white head. Aromas of malt and citrus/pine. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is somewhat roasted malt and citrus/pine hop. It is more astringent than bitter/dry, and it is slightly puckerish. Really nice IPA in a malty way.

Very impressive IPA. As I poured it out of the bottle I got a waffting hop aroma. The color was beautiful and the beer clear. I was affraid that the hops would domminate the beer, but the malt back bone held up. The flavor of malt spiced with hops exploded on the palate followed by a nice long clean finish. One of Michiganís best IPA offerings.

Bottle. Nose-industrial IPA. Body-dark straw, medium ring of bubbles, thin film of bubbles. Taste-Styrofoam, cottonseed, thin, vinous, soft. Not much of an IPA, but a decent beer.

Bottle courtesy of Guerde Ė thanks Andy! Pours a murky amber with a 2 finger beige head. The nose is ripe citrus, pine and caramel malt. Taste is tangerine, caramel and orange peel with a bitter yellow grapefruit and resin finish. Medium mouth feel. Very good IPA. Thanks again Andy!

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2011 Pint served, on tap at Lunar Brewing. Clear, copper/amber hue with a small, white head that reduced to a thin ring quickly, but retained some fair dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was orange rind, ruby red grapefruit, some sweetness, and a touch of resin. These followed into a flavor that exhibited a nice malt body, and good hop bitterness into the finish. Decent, refreshing IPA! Same place, different year. More of a cloudy, orange amber, again with nice balance, and some good lingering nature to the bitterness. Nicely even-keeled IPA the next time around!

Bottle thanks to MatSciGuy - THANKS! The aroma is awesome on this one. Full of fruty, piney hops. Pours opaque copper with a thin amount of head. Flavor is dank, piney resinous hops. Has a profile very much like Blind Pig, but different. Ends on a dry note, that leaves you wantint more.

12 oz bottle. Pours a semi-cloudy orange color with a small white head with a nice retention and lacing. Aroma is very heavy citrus hop. There are hints of orange ad grapefruit and just a touch of pine in there as well. Smells like a nice IPA. The flavor is citrusy as well, heavy orange flavors with a nice backing of malt to make it rather balanced. It is nice and bitter and finishes dry with no lingering aftertastes. Good everyday IPA that I could drink a few of in one sitting. Iíd try it if you havenít already.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, light amber pour with little head. Citrusy hop aroma. Flavor more of piney hops; earthy, bitter and dry. Also some notes of citrus and caramel malt.
