3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A: Pours a murky copper color with TONS of yeast sediment in the glass. The head is a one finger offwhite shade. There’s a good creaminess to the texture, even if it fades moderately quickly. Still, it’s not exactly an attractive beer.
S: This has a pervasive biscuit quality to the aroma; it melds reasonably well with the textbook grapefruit peel and pine qualities from the hops. The maltiness is sweet and caramel-esque, like I expect. Typical, but I really like how strongly the aroma emanates from the glass.
T: The biscuit from the aroma subsides a bit, being supplanted by some initial grapefruit qualities. Still, this is one of the most biscuity IPAs I’ve ever had. Pine bitterness pops up in the midtaste before seemingly washing away on the finish. No one note here really stands out from the pack - however, it compensates by coming across as a great thirst quencher with a modicum of complexity.
M: While the body isn’t lightweight, it manages to drink crisply anyways. Astringency is balanced well, with only a moderate bitterness accumulating on the palate. Carbonation is high yet controlled in order to preserve the refreshment qualities this provides.
O: I reckon this one would really work during the summertime - in some ways, this drinks like a saison. There are better IPAs to be found, but there are also many worse ones as well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle from Domus Birrae. Sunrise orange, pretty clear, with a small, creamy and persistent white head. On the nose citrus and soapy hops, a hint of caramel and nuts, some bubblegum and mint. Taste pretty much follow suite. Pleasently fruity and moderately bitter, really balanced caramel malts backbone. Slightly warming and dry aftertaste. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Decent but probably past its prime IPA.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head. Aromas of resin and pine, US hoppy max. Taste is sweet at first, crystal malt, caramel, then a big wallop of hop bitterness. Oily texture. Good.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy dark copper with a meringue like off white head that has great retention and good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine and wood with some marmalade sweetness. Taste is very similar to the aroma with citrus and a woody and piney flavor. Has a moderate earthy bitterness and a fair amount of malt backbone and sweetness that pegs this as a Midwest IPA. Still finishes mostly dry with a smooth piney bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A really good and balanced IPA that is drinkable and flavorful.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Intense orange-citrus aroma. Piny notes show through. One of the best aromas I have smelled in a while. Hazy pour, but golden orange color is excellent. Fantastic balance. intense bitterness that does not linger too long in the throat. I can also taste the citrus notes. Mouthfeel is light to medium and makes me want to drink more. Excellent IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Lots of pine and citrus hops aroma with hints of tropical fruits. Appearance: Cloudy amber with a rich white head. Taste: Light sweetness with a medium sourness to balance. Palate: Medium body, average carbonation, dry texture, dry finish. Overall: I'm not blown away, but I see what the brewers are going for here. It feels incomplete, to me, and unbalanced.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap, poured into a tulip. The aromas are very mild and mostly grapefruit and honey with a touch of waxy resin and dampness. It pours a slightly hazy amber with a dense white micro bubble head that leaves behind a webby lace. A medium ring is retained with an oily surface. The taste is a medium-high / high bitter with a medium sweet undertone. The slick, medium body has a moderate amount of prickly carbonation to it. The finish is grapefruit, caramel, and honey, but ultimately gives way to an abundant resin. The aftertaste is burnt and mostly waxy
