Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours a medium amber with a very thick head. Nose is citrus and hoppy. Flavor was big hops with a bitter, dry finish. Very full-bodied IPA. I was really enjoying this one, but iunfortunately it was getting a bit tiresome with the bitterness becoming somewhat tediious. However, a all-in-all real good IPA. Thanks to lewis13 for this one.
KAggie97 (1918), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle from Fly. Thanks, man! Pours a thick, cloudy, inviting cheddar orange with a delicious aroma of melon-infused grapefruit. Notes of peach nuts dropped in pine tar are noticeable in the background. Flavor is grapefruit adopted by a family of roasted nuts soaked in cereal. Nice, thick mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff. bretupdegraff (94), Fishers, Indiana, USA Sep 30, 2008 Hops Hops Hops - Love it! Nice flavor - crispy - outdoors and piney. Mouthfeel is perfect for me - nice carbonation - aftertaste stays with ya.
In my books- this is a very good IPA kegoguinness (45), Dodge City, Washington DC, USA Sep 29, 2008 draft in Deetwah City. Yum. Did I say yum? Very well balanced hops profile. Some IPAs scream aspirin. This is a beer that has no flaws and just plain nails an IPA style. Not too biter, not at all boring. Good aroma, nice lacing. WakeandBake (85), Greenville, Michigan, USA Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Hazy dark amber pour, with a solid head and lots of sediment (nice). Very crisp, dry flavor, with a citrus/pine finish.
