Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 4, 2007 Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a lazing orange head. It has a strong hop aroma with notes of citrus and grapefruit - and almost a herbal note. The flavor is dry and herbal with notes of grass and alfa acids. A bit too dry for me. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of goryshkewych. Pours rather cloudy golden with a white head. Very fresh and very American nose of citrusy hops and peach. Medium body with plenty of fruit and dry hoppy accents with plenty of lovely peach. Yummy. 130608 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy and yellow with a lacing white head. Solid spiced hops, pinewood aroma. Flavour is dry and hoppy with light caramel malt base to provide just enough balance. Smooth and bitter wooden finish. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 19, 2008 Bottle.
Hazy golden coloured with a small white head.
Aroma of fruits, hops and pine needles with notes of grass.
Fruity flavour of hops, peaches, pine needles and grass.
Dry hoppy finish. argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Jun 27, 2006 (12oz bottle) Hazy amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/floral, grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, pine, caramel, some orange, dry finish. Quite bitter. Soft, resiny, medium-full body. A bit unbalanced, but somethimes that’s just what the hophead ordered.
