Itís not as heavy bodied and malty as many IPAís, in contrast the palate is more crisp and dry. If you consider yourself a "hop-head" you owe it to yourself to grab this beer.

Pours out a cloudy dark golden color. The bottle has a lot of sediment which I dredged some up into my glass. The smell is very citric, with pine, grapefruit, tangerine and even some vague vanilla aromas. Wow the taste is sharply bitter, with some lemon zest, pine, grapefruit and perhaps some orange tastes. Really a full and rich tasting IPA. I'm glad I finally tried this, this one is a stand out from a lot of IPAs on the shelf. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy copper with a thick, foamy, caramel white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, caramel, light biscuit and grass. Flavor is caramel, pine, spice, grapefruit and light biscuit. Medium bodied, crisp with a dry end. Moderate carbonation.

Amber/gold pour, fair sized rocky head. Tropical fruit at the forefront in both aroma and taste, mango, lemon, grapefruit rinds - fairly juicy. Caramel malt backbone, drying mouthfeel. Medium body. This would be one of my go-to IPA if I lived in Michigan.

Pours a cloudy orange, and itís aroma is quite malty, but the hops start to build in the final flavour

Pours a dark amber with a thick, creamy white head. Malty nose with hints of tropical fruit. Taste is well balanced. Trails of to a shary bitter hop aftertaste. Quite nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

6 mo from bottleing. Sat on room temp shelf. Hazy dark orange pour some froth. Light lace. Aroma of mineral water light caramel and malt- sweet toasty/roasty caramel, some fruit. English yeast or malts kind of, kind of estery but doubt its hops. Taste is dry toast sweet caramel, smooth buttery, dry toasty bittersweet finish. Grassy pine in finish with a little bit of fruit ester. Sounds good the way I described it you would think but falls short because of age and poor storage. Ironicly as described it seems that this is heavy bodied and malty. But dry and toasty in finish. Had this along time ago and not sure if I got a fresh one but I remember liking it even more, so not bad for 6 mo poor storage.

On tap at a bar called Dark Horse in Chicago. I thought this one was decent. Dry, light body. Slightly hoppy. Was also drinking an Anti-Hero at the same time, so this one kind of got overshadowed.

Pours a light amber color with a think off-white head. Mild aroma of bread and citrus. More tropical fruit than dank hops, although there is a dry finish that sneaks in at the end. Overall just a bit soft, but very drinkable.

Bottle to ipa glass. hard pour kept a thick off white foamy head that stuck to the glass. Color is a murky orange brown. Nose is really fruity consisting of mango, peach, followed by pine with a similar flavor line up. Nice dry finish, somewhat light body, would like the ho p s more prevalent.

Thanks to schlitzfaced. Pours a hazy orange with barely any foam. There is some pine and citrus to the aroma but also a little medicinal. Big hop flavor with grapefruit and resin. Finish is dry and excessively bitter. I like it, just donít love it.
