Nov 11, 2007 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops and caramel as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, and peaches as well as a light dusty note from the hops. The body is like thick hop juice and the alcohol burns slihghtly in the throat.

Jun 28, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Pours a very hazy amber - almost murky - with floating impurities and a beige head. Fat aroma of hops and caramel. Very full in body with a very smooth mouthfeel. Lots of sweet caramel - almost Barleywineish - almost drowning the 98 IBUs. The finish is rich and full of warming alcohol. 270607

Dec 18, 2007 Bottled (thanks heemer77!). Ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is really fruity hops along with some alcohol. Flavour is hops, fruit some slight soap as well as caramel malts. A big, but wellbalanced brew.

Aug 18, 2006 (12oz bottle) Small off-white head that doesn’t linger, atop a yeasty filled opaque nut brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, grapefruit, peach/apricot, light alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, grapefruit, light apricot, some alcohol warming and light burn. Full, resiny body, some stickiness. Given the ABV, the alcohol characteristics are held reasonbly in check. Has some barleywine characteristics.
