COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Have you read the description for the regular Crooked Tree yet? Well this beer is almost the same just double. We actually took the Crooked Tree recipe and doubled all of the ingredients except the water, just the way a DOUBLE should be made. Big hops balanced with tons of malt give this beer a huge body. Although this beer is as cool as "the Fonz" when first purchased, it gets really mellow and smooth with some age. After a year or two stored in a cool dark place you'll notice the heavy caramel and malt flavors are trying to sneak past the hops, they’re just not fast enough. This beer is hugely delicious so it will need your undivided attention (the chores can wait....trust us). 98 IBU's

12oz bottle of unknown age picked up after Thai food in Oregon neighborhood. Pours a nice bronze color with a big, foamy, tan head. Pretty big aroma where the caramel malt notes actually dominate the initial hoppiness. The biggest thing I can’t believe about the flavor is how well the 13+ ABV is hidden. Although well disguised, I think the booze might dominate the other flavors.

Flaska delad med JanVah på Sorbon. Underbara dofter av tropisk fruktaffär. Perfekt balans mellan sötma och beska. Ljuvlig fredags-aw.

På flaska @ Sorbon. Mörk bärnstensfärgad. Doftar härligt av honung. Smakar sött blommigt med en svag beska.

Aroma is thick from tough and violent malts, woodwork in the rain and some badass hops. If you inhale really long, you almost get a bit insta-drunk, cause theres a lot of alcohol in the smell. The taste is like smearing your face with flower nectars and then ram it down in a ground dwelling wasp nest. A thick, sweet malt body with an almost oily touch with an instant attack from the hop sting which follows you all the way to the long finish. Ligthly carbonated and with a touch of alcohol. This is a sipper

Pours orange brown with a clingy off white head. Aroma of cereal, caramel, pineapple, pine. Very caramel, brown bread and molasses malty with some orange and grapefruit hop. No date on the bottle, but I think this is well past being a dipa. Still, not too bad.

A dense orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is like apricot wine and vanilla. The flavor is fruity, herbal, wood, and boozy.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. 12% these days, by the way. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Aromas of wood alcohol, pine. Taste is oily, malty, sweet, alcohol burn. Medium body, slick finish. Just ok, thought it would be better.

I had this at the brewpub. It looked kind of like Orange chocolate milk... But it was crazy sweet and hoppy and boozy as hell.... Fun stuff this beer. Fun stuff indeed.
